You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Humans seem to pride themselves on their ability to create. I often find myself trying to be innovative and come up with a new way of doing something rather than focusing on the action. Perspective really matters in a lot of scenarios. While the option may exist, and is even more tempting when one lives in a democracy, it doesn’t mean it needs to be drastic! Sometimes, it just might mean we need to tackle similar problems with a newfound attitude. A new perspective. A new responsibility for what needs to be done, not what we think should be done about something. Focus directed towards being a good citizen of the state, which probably means not being super outspoken all the time and solely focusing on serving instead of being the catalyst of change, must always override personal feelings. Watch out, America.
